Uganda, a landlocked country similar in size to Michigan, is a land of lush greenery, rolling hills, and fertile plains, earning it the nickname “The Pearl of Africa.

Positioned near the equator, Uganda experiences a consistently warm climate, with temperatures typically hovering in the 80s Fahrenheit, punctuated by short rainy seasons throughout the year.

In 2023, Uganda’s population reached approximately 47.7 million, with a significant proportion being youth, averaging around 16 years old. The average life expectancy in Uganda is about 69 years, indicating advancements in healthcare and living standards. Although English serves as the official language, Luganda is widely spoken, especially in rural communities.

Kyampisi, Uganda, is a lively community surrounded by beautiful scenery. People here cherish their traditions and come together at bustling markets and joyful festivals. Despite difficulties, the village is united and resilient, showing the true spirit of Uganda.
