Our Family

Our family consists of Randy & Meg, our four daughters, and their families. A year after our initial mission trip to Uganda, Pastor Judy Bauman asked us if we would consider taking over the sponsorship program for Kyampisi Childcare Ministries, as she was no longer able to travel there. After much prayer and thought, we made the decision to assume responsibility for the program in 2017, now known as Happy Hearts International.

Since then, various members of our family have continued to visit our friends in Kyampisi, Uganda, creating many long-term relationships with the people there. We strive to support the people of Kyampisi, Uganda, and the surrounding areas. We have developed personal relationships with many people there and have even welcomed some Ugandans—both adults and children—into our home.

It’s important to note that we do not take any funds for ourselves. 100% of the money received through Happy Hearts International is directed toward assisting the children and people of Uganda.
